Russians offer convicts a six-month contract for war in Ukraine instead of imprisonment - AFU General Staff
To replenish losses in manpower, the Russian occupiers continue to actively recruit people with criminal records or those facing criminal charges, in particular for terrorism.
This is stated by Censor.NЕТ with reference to рress center of AFU General Staff.
"According to available information, about 500 such invaders are being trained in one of the field camps deployed by the enemy in the temporarily occupied territory of Starobilsk district of Luhansk region. It is also known that instead of imprisonment, the convicts are offered a contract for military service with participation in hostilities in Ukraine for a period of six months," the statement said.
