Prilepin stated that he was driving car during explosion
Russian propagandist Zakhar Prilepin said that he was driving the car at the time of the explosion, and that the explosion occurred to his right under the other front wheel.
As informs Censor.NЕТ, he wrote about this in the first post in his Telegram channel since the explosion.
He noted: "Sasha (Shubin - ed.) was riding on the right in the passenger seat. I was driving. The explosion happened under his wheel.
I lost consciousness for about three minutes, came to and crawled to the broken windshield. The villagers who ran up helped me get out. Both my legs are broken (one fracture is open) and I have some other injuries."
He also stated that he had dropped his daughter off from the car 5 minutes before the explosion.
According to Prilepin, Shubin, codenamed "Evil," who died in the explosion, had worked as his "guardian angel" for 8 years and saved his life several times.
As Censor.NET reported, on May 6, 2023, Russian propagandist and participant in the aggression against Ukraine Prilepin was blown up in a car in Russia.
On the same day, the Russian Investigative Committee announced that a Ukrainian native, Oleksandr Permyakov, had been detained on suspicion of an attempted assassination of propagandist Zakhar Prilepin and pleaded guilty.
