Zelenskyy imposes sanctions against Derkach and owners of VS Energy
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree on restrictive measures on property of Russian companies in Ukraine and on property of Ukrainian economic entities related to them.
It is informed by Censor.NЕТ referring to President's Telegram channel.
"They sometimes even controlled critical infrastructure facilities and key strategic enterprises. Today we are overcoming these risks. Sanctions have also been imposed on companies associated with Medvedchuk and other sanctioned persons, founders, managers, and beneficiaries of pro-Russian companies that own significant assets in Ukraine," Zelenskyy said.
According to the decree, sanctions were imposed against the daughter of former Defense Minister Lebedev, the head of the Frunze Research Institute, Volodymyr Lukyanenko, and his son, former MP Andriy Derkach, and the nominal owners of VS Energy.
The sanctions were also imposed on the son of a well-known Russian businessman Vadim Giner, Olga and Irina Babakov.
