Russia itself attacked Kremlin in order to "justify its actions in Ukraine to society."
As informs Censor.NЕТ referring to Radio Liberty, such a statement was made by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with representatives of the Italian media.
The president emphasized that "it was not a Ukrainian drone that the Kremlin attacked, as Kyiv understands exactly what was happening."
"We did not launch any drones at the Kremlin. He wants to show it. We have to understand that he has fewer and fewer excuses for his actions, even for his society. There are fewer and fewer motivational steps for the radical part of society. He needed to strike at us and he did, and not just once. This is a very important point," he said.
Zelenskyy added that Russian President Vladimir Putin always needs a "foundation," so "he or his entourage will come up with some things."
"I'll tell you frankly, if we had anything to do with it, we would have told you. What do we have to fear? He bombs us every day. But our position is that we do not shoot at civilians or at Russia," the President emphasized.
