"Geopolitically, Russia has already lost war" - Macron
Geopolitically, Russia has already been defeated and is turning into a vassal of China.
This opinion was expressed by French President Emmanuel Macron, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to The Guardian.
"De facto, Russia has become subordinate to China and lost access to the Baltic Sea, which was critically important for Russia, as it prompted Sweden and Finland to decide to join NATO. This was unimaginable two years ago. Therefore, this is already a geopolitical defeat," Macron said.
He emphasized that Russia should not win this war.
"Let's be clear, Russia should not win this war militarily. Therefore, it is up to us to help the Ukrainians in their counteroffensive, to deal with the issue of security guarantees in the negotiations that will inevitably take place," Macron said.
He summarized that the new European security architecture should not only protect Ukraine, but also create a balance of power in which a new confrontation is not possible.
As reported by the French media, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will arrive in Paris by the end of today.
