31 M1 Abrams training tanks for Ukrainian military have already arrived in Germany - Pentagon
The United States has already sent 31 M1 Abrams training tanks to Germany, which will soon be used by the Ukrainian military.
This was stated at a briefing by Pentagon spokesman General Patrick Ryder, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to Ukrinform.
"I can confirm that 31 M1 Abrams training tanks have arrived in Germany in preparation for the upcoming training of Ukrainian troops," Ryder said.
According to him, the training of Ukrainian soldiers on American tanks will begin over the next few weeks.
"This extensive training program for Ukrainian tankers and technicians is designed to prepare them for their future important role in effectively using M1 tanks and protecting the Ukrainian people," the Pentagon spokesman emphasized.
