The Netherlands welcomes the decision of US President Joe Biden to support the training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16s. The conditions for this will be created in the coming weeks.
This was stated by Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte tweeted, reports Censor.NЕТ.
"Together with my British, Danish and Belgian colleagues, we welcome the news that the United States is ready to approve training for Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets. The conditions for this will be developed in the coming weeks," he said in a statement.
Rutte also added that Ukraine can count on the unwavering support of the Netherlands and its international partners.
At the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Biden said that the United States supports the efforts of allies and partners to train Ukrainian pilots to fly fourth-generation fighter jets. These include the F-16.
