The enemy’s offensive activity in the Bakhmut sector slightly decreased over the last day.

This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defence Hanna Maliar on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.

At the same time, she said, the number of attacks is consistently high.

"The fighting in Bakhmut has decreased, the enemy continues to clear the areas it has taken control of. Our troops control the south-western outskirts of the city in the area of "Litak". Fighting continues in the suburbs, the enemy is trying to take advantageous positions, but fails. In certain areas, the enemy is on the defensive. They are suffering heavy losses," said Maliar.

"On the flanks to the north and south of Bakhmut, we have made some minor advances," she added.
