The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information regarding the Russian invasion as of 6:00 p.m. on June 3, 2023.
As Censor.NET informs, this was reported on the official Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the evening summation it is noted: "The Russian Federation continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite significant losses, it does not give up its plans to occupy our territory.
The enemy continues to disregard the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, strikes, and fires both at military and civilian targets.
In total, during the day, the enemy carried out 19 air strikes and carried out more than 10 attacks from rocket salvo systems.
The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Over the last day, the occupants carried out 16 attacks, but all of them were repelled by the defence forces.
The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia sectors remained unchanged, with no signs of offensive groups forming.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy continues to maintain military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine.
It conducted an air strike near Hatyshche, Kharkiv region.
It carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Hremyach and Hai in Chernihiv region; Atynske, Oleksandrivka, Yunakivka, Mohrytsia, Stepok, Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy region, as well as Ivashky, Udy, Vetarine, Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Vysoka Yaruha, Pylyna, Zelene, Vesele, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Vilcha, Bochkove, Budarky and Chuhunivka in Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives near Novoselivske in the Luhansk region over the course of the day. It conducted an air strike near Serhiivka, Donetsk region. Masiutivka, Lyman Pershy, Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Berestove in Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in Luhansk region came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives near Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Spirne, Donetsk region, over the past day. It carried out air strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Siversk, Donetsk region. Artillery shelling was carried out in the vicinity of the settlements bordering the contact line: Makiivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Verkhnekamianske, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, the enemy conducted offensive operations in the area of Ivanivske, but was unsuccessful. He carried out air strikes in the Kurdiumivka and Bila Hora areas of the Donetsk region. The areas of Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, Sloviansk, Ivanivske, Predtechino, Bila Hora, New York and Shevchenko in Donetsk region were hit by enemy artillery shelling.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive in the Avdiivka direction. It conducted air strikes near Avdiivka, Donetsk region. It fired artillery shells near Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka sector, the enemy conducted offensive actions near the town of Mariinka, but our defenders repelled all nine enemy attacks. There were also unsuccessful offensives in the area of Oleksandrivka, Donetsk region. At the same time, the enemy continues to destroy our towns and villages, launched an air strike on Mariinka, and shelled the settlements of Maksimilianivka, Mariinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Antonivka, Katerynivka and Yantarne in Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsk sector, the enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Vuhledar and Prechystivka in Donetsk region. He fired at settlements close to the frontline, including: Vuhledar, Prechystivka and Novoukrainka in the Donetsk region.
The enemy continues to conduct defensive actions in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson sectors. It carried out air strikes in the Poltavka and Huliaipole areas of Zaporizhzhia region. It fired artillery at the settlements of Vremivka, Zelene Pole in Donetsk region; Burlatske, Malynivka, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Kamianske, Lukyanivske and Komyshuvakha in Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Zolota Balka, Zmiivka, Beryslav, Burhunka, Ivanivka, Dachi, Zymivnyk, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Kizomys in Kherson region and the city of Kherson.
Russian occupation forces continue to exert pressure on Ukrainian citizens and violate human rights in the temporarily occupied territories. In particular, in Henichesk, Kherson region, Ukrainian citizens with a pro-Ukrainian position are being forcibly detained in the basements of the former tax inspection building.
At the same time, the Russian occupiers continue to use the infrastructure of the temporarily occupied settlements to provide medical care to their wounded soldiers. Recently, in the village of Skadovsk, Kherson region, on the territory of a kindergarten, the invaders set up a field hospital, where more than 50 occupants with injuries of varying severity are being treated.
Over the past day, the defence forces' aviation carried out 11 strikes on the areas where the personnel were concentrated.
Our defenders destroyed 3 enemy reconnaissance UAVs.
Missile and artillery units hit a command post, 1 anti-aircraft missile system and 3 ammunition depots over the last day."
