Oil slick was discovered in sea near Odesa, - city council
In the waters of the Black Sea, in the area of Odesa beach "Vidrada", a spot of oil products of unknown size is observed on the sea surface.

"According to available information, as of June 3, 2023, a characteristic spot of oil products of unknown size can be visually observed on the sea surface in the waters of the Black Sea in the area of the Vidrada beach.
On the morning of June 3, 2023, employees of the State Environmental Inspection of the South-Western District (Mykolaiv and Odesa Regions) took samples of sea water at the site of pollution for the purpose of conducting appropriate laboratory analysis.
As of now, employees of the State Environmental Inspection, the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Regional State Administration, and the Department of Ecology and Development of Recreational Zones are conducting joint actions to establish the volumes and sources of pollution and inform law enforcement agencies in accordance with the established procedure," the message says.
