8.6 million Ukrainians have not returned to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine
This is stated on Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future, Censor.NET informs.
"There will be no one to create GDP in Ukraine. There are only 9.1-9.5 million Ukrainians working, and if you subtract state employees, there are about 6-7 million people left. They are the "team" that carries the others - 22-23 million people, including pensioners, children, students, the unemployed, dependents, the same employees of the budget sphere, etc.," the message says.
According to the Institute, since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, 8.6 million Ukrainians have not returned home after going abroad. The UIF also reports that the fertility rate has already fallen below 1. For the population to grow, this rate must be above 2 - that is, the number of births per number of women of reproductive age.
