Despite the Russian occupiers undermining the Kakhovka HPP, the situation with the water level in the ZNPP cooling pond remains stable and under control.

This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Energoatom press center.

As noted, as of 08:00 a.m. on June 10, the water level in the Kakhov reservoir in the Nikopol area is 10.42 m, and in the cooling pond of the Zaporizhzhia NPP - 16.67 m, and this is quite enough to meet the station's needs.

"It is worth reminding that the ZNPP power units have not been operating since September 2022, and therefore, active evaporation of water from the cooling pond has not occurred since then. Follow the information only on official resources!", the message reads.

It is also reported that as of 10:00 a.m. on June 10, the level of the Kakhovka reservoir in the Nikopol area is 10.31 m.
