In direction of Bakhmut, AFU advanced to 700 meters, - Cherevaty

On the flanks near Bakhmut, the Defense Forces advanced to a distance of up to 700 meters. The occupiers are trying to counterattack.
Serhii Cherevaty, spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this on the air of the telethon, Censor.NET informs with reference to Liga.Novyny.
"Positional battles continue in the Bakhmut direction. The Russian occupiers are trying to counterattack but to no avail. Last day, there were three combat clashes in this direction, the enemy launched 249 artillery barrages and two airstrikes," the message says.
Defense forces continued to counterattack where opportunities existed.
"On the flanks, they advanced from 250 to 700 meters, pushing the enemy back," Cherevaty said.
At the same time, 66 occupiers were killed, 83 were wounded, and three were captured.
The defense forces burned two Russian infantry fighting vehicles, two amphibious assault vehicles, an armored personnel carrier, two Nona self-propelled mortars, a D-30 howitzer, an anti-tank missile complex, and a field ammunition depot.
