миколаївщина

As a result of the explosion of the Kakhovka Reservoir, the reservoirs of the Mykolaiv Oblast have exceeded the norm for Escherichia coli, so swimming and fishing are currently strictly prohibited.

The head of the regional military administration, Vitalii Kim, said this at a briefing, Censor.NET informs with reference to Ukrinform.

"The quality of water in the reservoirs of the Mykolaiv region as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovka Reservoir is exceeding the coliform level, so swimming, catching, and selling fish are currently strictly prohibited," said Kim.

At the same time, he noted that the drinking water supplied to the city of Mykolaiv meets the established standards. As for the Bashtan district, 9 wells were flooded there. But one still remained, and it supplies water of the appropriate quality.

"It is very important that there were no cemeteries, cattle burial grounds, the burial of agrochemicals, etc. in the flooded areas on our territory. Therefore, we hope that the situation will level off in the near future," the head of the region emphasized.
