Russian occupiers mined fields in the Krasnoperekop district of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
This was announced by the head of the Department for Legal Affairs and Foreign Affairs of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, the head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, Eskender Bariev, on the air of the national telethon, Censor.NET informs with reference to Ukrinform.
"We warned that mined fields in the Krasnoperekop region. The city of Armyansk is also located in this region. Speaking of what is happening at the "Crimean Titan", we would like to draw attention to the fact that the plant has sumps in which fresh water accumulates. They are shallow and not can hinder a counteroffensive. We have information that these sumps along the perimeter were also mined," said Bariev.
He also noted that there were risks for the work of the "Crimean Titan" chemical plant due to the fact that Crimea will not receive the Dnipro water after the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP.
