Germany and Poland to establish a service station for German military equipment sent to Ukraine

Germany and Poland are close to signing an agreement to set up a maintenance station for German-made military equipment sent to Ukraine.
This is stated by Censor.NЕТ with reference to Іnterfax-Ukraine.
"Negotiations on this topic will be completed before the NATO summit in Vilnius on July 11-12. This station will be used to supply much-needed spare parts for the equipment assembled in Germany," Bloomberg reports, citing German Ambassador to Warsaw Thomas Bugger.
The day before, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced the imminent successful completion of these negotiations.
Bloomberg reminds that similar maintenance centers were previously deployed in Slovakia and Romania. Thus, in April, the German TV channel NTV reported that the German defense concern Rheinmetall AG was creating such a facility in Romania near the village of Satu Mare on the Romanian-Ukrainian border. In particular, this facility, which is supposed to play a central role in ensuring the combat capability of Western weapons for Ukraine, will be able to service Leopard 2 and Challenger tanks, self-propelled howitzers, armored personnel carriers, armored personnel carriers, and military trucks.
