Parliament of Luxembourg recognized Holodomor as genocide of Ukrainian people

The Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg, the parliament, adopted a resolution recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-33 in Ukraine as genocide.
This is stated by Censor.NЕТ with reference to Radio Svoboda.
"Today, at the session, the deputies approved a resolution recognizing the Holodomor in Ukraine in the 1930s as genocide," the Luxembourg parliament tweeted.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called the vote "historic."
"I welcome the historic vote of the House of Deputies of Luxembourg to recognize the Stalinist Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide against Ukrainians. This step honors the millions of victims and restores historical justice. International recognition of the Holodomor-Genocide continues to grow," the minister tweeted.
After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, consideration of the issue of recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people intensified in a number of countries. The parliaments of the United Kingdom, Slovenia, Belgium, Ireland, Romania, Moldova, the Czech Republic, Germany, Iceland, and France have since recognized the Holodomor as genocide.
On December 15, 2022, the European Parliament supported a resolution recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people. MEPs also called on Russia, as the successor to the USSR, to apologize for the actions of the Soviet regime against Ukraine.
