On the night of 15 June, powerful explosions occurred in Krasnodar, Russia.

Residents of Krasnodar are discussing on social media what exactly could have caused the explosions. Some say they saw a drone, while others say it was Russian aircraft.

Subsequently, it was reported that the loud sound heard by the residents of Krasnodar was due to the aircraft breaking the sound barrier.

"No information about any foreign vehicles, destruction or flares has been recorded. The fire near the village of Roduchiy (pictured) is a pile of burning garbage that is not related to the sound heard by Krasnodar residents. The fire was promptly extinguished," the regional operations center said.
