Russian occupiers are entrenched in Crimea in anticipation of counteroffensive. VIDEO&PHOTOS
From the administrative border of the occupied Crimea with Ukraine to Dzhankoy, the Russian army has built numerous defence lines.
They are visible on new Planet Labs satellite images published by journalists of the Schemes programme, Censor.NET reports.
They note that most of the trenches were dug by the Russian army after its retreat from Kherson.
The Russians are building fortifications close to villages or even in populated areas. This means that in the event of hostilities, they can use Crimean civilians as human shields.
