Russian losses are now largest since Battle of Bakhmut, - British intelligence
The AFU continues to advance at the front, and the Russian army is suffering its heaviest losses since the height of the Battle of Bakhmut.
This is stated in the report of British intelligence, Censor.NET informs.
"For the last few days, heavy fighting has been going on. The most intense fighting is concentrated in the Zaporizhzhia region, in the west of the Donetsk region, and around Bakhmut," the message says.
According to intelligence, Ukraine continues to conduct offensive operations in all directions and has achieved minor successes.
"In the south, Russian forces often conduct relatively effective defensive operations. Both sides are suffering significant losses, with Russian losses likely to be the highest since the peak of the Battle of Bakhmut in March," British intelligence said.
It will be recalled that the former commander of the US Ground Forces in Europe, Ben Hodges, said that the main phase of the counteroffensive has not yet begun. But Ukraine is on the way to expelling the occupiers.
