Heaviest battles are being fought in Lyman, Bakhmut, and Mariinka directions, - General Staff
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts in the Lyman, Bakhmut, and Mariinka directions, with 38 combat engagements taking place over the last day.
This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
The situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions remained unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy fired mortar and artillery shells at the towns of Hirsk in the Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Sorokyne, Korenok, Khodyne, Stukalivka, Yunakivka, Loknia in the Sumy region, as well as Udy, Chervona Zoria, Odnorobivka, Vetarynarne, Hoptivka, Strilecha, Pylna, Kozacha Lopan, Morokhovets, Lukyantsi, Izbytske, Pletenivka, Ohirtseve, Volokhivka, Budarky, Zemlianky, Chuhunivka, and Odradne in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy made unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Stelmakhivka. Krasne Pershne, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Kyslivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted air strikes near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Vesele, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region. Artillery shelling took place in Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Bohdanivka. It carried out air strikes in the areas of Serhiivka, Soledar, and Bila Hora. The areas of Vasiukivka, Markove, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka, and Pivdenne in the Donetsk region suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
In the Avdiivka direction, the occupants carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Pervomaiske. They carried out air strikes in the areas of Avdiivka and Severne. They shelled the settlements of Sukha Balka, Avdiivka, Orlivka, Vodiane, Karlivka, Nevelske, Oleksandropil, Valentynivka, Keramik, Stepove and Pervomayske in the Donetsk region with artillery.
In the Mariinka direction, the enemy conducted offensive actions in the vicinity of Mariinka but was unsuccessful. It conducted an air strike near Krasnohorivka. At the same time, he fired artillery at the localities of Heorhiivka, Mariinka, and Pobeda in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, Ukrainian defense forces liberated the village of Rivnopil in the Donetsk region. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Prechistivka, Blahodatne, and Makarivka. It fired at Illinka, Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Storozheve, Yelizavetivka, Bohoiavlenka, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Makarivka, Novosilka, Novopil, and Zelene Pole in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is focusing its main efforts on preventing the advance of our troops. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Levadne and Oleshky. It fired artillery at the towns of Temyrivka, Novodarivka, Levadne, Olhove, Malynivka, Zaporizhzhia, Chervone, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Huliaypolske, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Pyatikhatky, Lobkove in the Zaporizhzhia region; Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region; Dudchany, Olhivka, Respublikanets, Lvove, Tiahyntsi, Burhunka, Kachkarivka, Mykolaivka, Zmiivka, Antonivka, Naddniprianske, Molodizhne, Inzhenerne, Zelenivka, Kherson, Bilozerka, Berehove, Dniprovske, Romashkove, and Charivne in the Kherson region and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region.
