This was announced by the speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Kovalev, Censor.NET informs with reference to the Military Media Center.
"In the direction of Rivnopil-Volodyne, the Defense Forces had partial success, they are entrenched at the achieved boundaries. Ukrainian troops inflict fire damage with artillery on identified enemy targets, carry out counter-battery countermeasures," the message says.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the Defense Forces seized the strategic initiative and are conducting offensive operations with a wide front.
"On the flanks of the city of Bakhmut, they continue to put pressure on the enemy, break out of previously captured lines. They are successful, they are entrenched in the lines they have reached," the spokesman said.
In the Lymansky, Avdiivka, and Mariinka directions, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the advance of Russian troops.
