Result of counteroffensive may affect attitude of West towards Ukraine, - Financial Times

The results of the Ukrainian troops’ counteroffensive may affect the West’s attitude toward Ukraine. It is about financial and other support.
Financial Times writes about it, Censor.NET reports with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
The publication, citing an unnamed high-ranking European diplomat, indicates that the results of the counteroffensive will affect everything "we do regarding Ukraine."
"Funding, support, political participation... and most importantly, peace talks that will happen whether we like them or not," the diplomat said.
At the same time, the commander-in-chief of NATO in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, believes that Ukraine's counteroffensive has not yet achieved significant success. According to him, the Armed Forces faced difficulties related to the Russian defense.
"Russia still has an advantage (at the expense of, - ed.) massiveness," Cavoli said.
The NATO military headquarters refused to comment on the commander's remarks.
"NATO has been closely monitoring the conflict in Ukraine since its inception... The next phase of their struggle may be long and difficult, but we will continue to do everything we can to help Ukraine win its existential struggle," the statement said.
