Zelensky called on Biden to invite Ukraine to NATO, - CNN

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged US President Joe Biden to invite Ukraine to join NATO now, even if Ukraine becomes a member after the war is over.

He said this in an interview with CNN, Censor.NET reports.

"He is in favor of us being in NATO in the future. Right now, we need an official invitation to NATO, it is very important," Zelensky said.

The President also noted that he understands that Ukraine will not be able to join the alliance while the war is on, but the invitation will be a very important signal and incentive for Ukrainian soldiers.
