Armed Forces of Ukraine have partial success in Berdiansk direction and fully possess initiative, - Defense Forces of Tavria direction
The Armed Forces of Ukraine had partial success in the offensive in the direction of Berdiansk, the initiative is in the hands of Ukrainian soldiers.
Valerii Shershen, the spokesman of the Defense Forces of the Tavria region, announced this on the air of the national telethon, reports Censor.NET with reference to Liga.net.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are systematically knocking the enemy out of positions, and moving forward, in the Berdyansk direction there is partial success along the front line.
"We are hitting the enemy, conducting counter-battery combat, demining. Wisdom says that the sappers move slowly, but they should not be rushed. The enemy is putting up fierce resistance, we are pressing and destroying the combat potential of the Russians," said Shershen.
He noted that 68 Russians were eliminated, 156 were wounded, four invaders were captured, and 22 pieces of weapons and equipment were destroyed in the Tavria direction.
"The occupiers are suffering colossal losses, the initiative is completely on our side. The Russians are bringing in manpower and old Soviet equipment," summed up the spokesman of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction.
