In Kupiansk direction, Armed Forces seized initiative, - Ministry of Defense
The enemy is unsuccessfully trying to advance in the Kupiansk direction. The fighting continues, but the initiative is already in the hands of the Defense Forces.
Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar announced this in her Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
"The enemy's offensive in the Kupiansk direction is currently unsuccessful. The fighting continues, but the initiative is already on our side. On the southern phalanx around Bakhmut, today, like all previous days, there was an advance of our troops," the message reads.
It is also said that fighting continued today on the northern flank around Bakhmut. The enemy is trying to regain lost positions. The Armed Forces have to deal with dense mining and intense enemy fire.
