Ukrainian farmers need 150 systems for demining territories, - Zelensky

There is a request from the Ministry of Economy for 150 systems for demining Ukrainian territories to support the agro-industrial complex. Currently, demining is a challenge for both the military and farmers.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this during a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Ireland Leo Varadkar, Censor.NET informs with reference to Ukrinform.
"We have challenges (regarding demining - ed.), and they are different. They are like the battlefield for our soldiers who have to go through these hundreds of mined kilometers, as well as a challenge for a Ukrainian farmer... When we talk about demining, we must understand that we currently have a request from the Ministry of Economy for about 150 demining systems, for example, only for the agro-industrial complex," the head of state said.
Zelensky said, in particular, that Ireland helps Ukraine with two such systems.
The President noted that negotiations on demining equipment with Slovakia, Croatia, Japan, and Canada are also ongoing. He specified that it is very difficult to obtain such a volume of necessary systems.
