The Security Service is conducting searches at the home of MP Oleksandr Dubinsky and checking the circumstances of his travel abroad during martial law.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the SSU.
According to the investigation, the MP traveled abroad under the guise of accompanying his father for treatment at a foreign medical facility.
"At the same time, the MP's father traveled abroad and returned from there on his own - without the actual accompaniment of the parliamentarian. In addition, law enforcement officers are investigating the facts that the MP signed official documents while he was outside Ukraine, which may indicate that they were forged," the statement said.
Criminal proceedings were initiated under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 1 of Art. 366 (forgery in office);
- Part 3 of Article 362 (unauthorized actions with information processed in automated systems, committed by a person who has the right to access it by prior conspiracy by a group of persons).
The sanction of the articles provides for a sentence of up to 6 years imprisonment with disqualification to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.
We are talking about MP Oleksandr Dubinsky.
Earlier it was reported that Dubinsky, under the pretext of accompanying his sick father, went abroad and is currently holidaying in Barcelona with his girlfriend.
