Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki held an urgent meeting with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda. They discussed provocations by Russia and Belarus.

Nauseda announced this on Twitter, informs Censor.NET.

He called the meeting with Morawiecki productive and noted that it was about border security.

"The presence of "Wagner" mercenaries in Belarus is an additional security risk for Lithuania and Poland, as well as NATO allies. We remain vigilant and ready for any possible development," Nauseda wrote.

The day before, Morawiecki said in a video message that "cooperation between Poland and Lithuania is important in the face of threats and provocations," writes European Truth.

He emphasized that Poland remains under the constant threat of provocations and hybrid attacks by the special services of Belarus and Russia.

"It was to escalate tensions on NATO's eastern flank that mercenaries from the Wagner group were brought to Belarus. There will be more such provocations, and they will be calculated to create confusion in Poland and other NATO countries, especially in our region, so tomorrow I will hold an urgent meeting with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda on the Suvalsky Isthmus," Morawiecki said.
