The Netherlands and Denmark pledged to provide Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets once the conditions for such a transfer are met.

This was stated by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte during a joint press conference with President Volodymyr Zelensky, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.

As Rutte noted, in May the Netherlands announced that it would train Ukrainian pilots for deployment on F-16s. At the same time, it is impossible to conduct training in the absence of fighters.

"That is, the delivery of aircraft is necessary for training. Today, we can announce that the Netherlands and Denmark are committed to delivering F-16s to Ukraine when the conditions for such a transfer are met," Rutte said.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that 42 F-16 aircraft would be provided to Ukraine after training of our pilots.

Censor.NET also reported that Zelensky had arrived in the Netherlands.
