Russia is creating new military formation in south of Ukraine, - British intelligence

In the occupied south of Ukraine, the Russians are creating another new formation - the 18th combined army.
This is stated in the report of British intelligence, Censor.NET informs.
"The formation will probably be the unification and strengthening of other units currently operating in the Kherson region, including the 22nd Army Corps, which usually forms the Russian garrison in occupied Crimea," the summary says.
According to British intelligence, the new army is likely to consist mainly of mobilized personnel and will focus on defensive operations in southern Ukraine.
"Russia probably wants to free up more experienced units to conduct combat operations in key directions. There is a real possibility that this led to the recent redeployment of airborne troops from Kherson to the Orichiv sector, where fierce battles are taking place," the British Ministry of Defense notes.
