As result of enemy shelling, one of TPPs stopped, - DTEK
On the morning of August 24, one of the thermal power plants in Ukraine stopped due to Russian shelling.

"The enemy continues to carry out terrorist attacks on civilian and energy facilities of Ukraine. Today, August 24, as a result of shelling, one of the thermal power plants of DTEK Energo, which was subjected to repeated attacks earlier, was damaged," the message says.
It is noted that no one died as a result of the enemy attack. However, the TPP equipment was seriously damaged. After the shelling, the power industry will start liquidating the consequences and resuming the operation of the station.
DTEK adds that since September of last year, the Russians have shelled the company's energy plants 34 times. As a result of enemy attacks, three energy workers were killed, and another 28 company employees were injured. There were also deaths and injuries among workers of contracting organizations and rescuers.
