Russians can get into cauldron near Kupiansk, - Reznikov
Despite the certain advance of Russian troops, the invaders near Kupiansk may find themselves in a cauldron if the Armed Forces advance in the direction of Bakhmut.
Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov stated this at a press conference, Censor.NET reports with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
"This is a logical course of the enemy, to divert our attention by attacking there so that we can take units from the south and east. But General Syrsky, who commands the "Khortytsia" troop group, is simultaneously holding the defense in that direction and counterattacking in the Bakhmut direction. The Russians seem to be a little over there and advance, but if we advance (in the direction of Bakhmut. - Ed.), then they will already fall into the cauldron," he noted.
Reznikov emphasized that Ukrainian units from the south do not fall over, while the Russians constantly move their units: from the Kherson region to the southern (Zaporizhzhia) direction, from the south - to the Eastern direction.
According to him, such actions of the occupiers are a good sign for Ukraine.
"As the military say, 'the situation is difficult, but under control,'" Reznikov summarized.
