During the day, the Russian occupiers fired artillery, mortars, and using combat aircraft at the settlements of Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, Izium, Chuguiv, and Kupiansk districts.

In the villages of Podoly, Kupiansk district, and Vovchanski Khutory, Chuhuiiv district, the grass was burning in the open area as a result of enemy shelling.
As a result of shelling from Cherneshchyna, Izium district, a house and a garage of a private household were damaged. A house was damaged in the village of Kurylivka, Kupiansk district.
Around 08:50 a.m., on August 28, in the village of Yavirske, Izium district, a remote-controlled T-150 tractor exploded and caught fire in a field during demining operations. There were no casualties.
