Russians were exhausted in area of Robotyne AFU, - Estonian intelligence
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are advancing slowly, but are acting thoughtfully and methodically, and have exhausted the Russians in the Robotyne area.
This was stated at a press conference by the head of the intelligence center of the Estonian Defense Forces, Margo Grosberg, Censor.NET reports with reference to ERR.
He said that for the last week and a half, the main battles have been taking place in the Zaporizhzhia region in the direction of Robotyny and Vervovoy. According to him, the Ukrainian forces reached the first line of trenches of the so-called Surovikin defense line, breached it in at least one place, and reached the western side of Vervovoy.
Grosberg noted that the fighting there was intense. The Russians had to transfer additional units from Bakhmut and Liman.
"These actions show that Russia is taking rather big risks, which proves that its reserves are limited, there are not many of them left," says the head of Estonian intelligence.
At the same time, tactical breakthroughs in other regions of Ukraine are more difficult. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are still far from the Sea of Azov, although they are pushing the front line for the Russian Federation further and further.
