British Foreign Ministry disagrees with Johnson about insufficient aid to Ukraine: We are leaders in this matter

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain, James Cleverley, disagrees with the ex-prime minister of the country, Boris Johnson, who believes that the British government does not support Ukraine enough.

This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to Ukrinform.

"He (Johnson. - Ed.) cannot talk about Great Britain. During his tenure ... we supplied those NLAW anti-tank missile complexes that played an important role in the defense of Kyiv, and conducted training. Since (his stay. - Ed.) Rishi Sunak as Prime Minister, we were the first in the world to commit to the transfer of main battle tanks, then other countries followed our example. We were the first to start training high-speed jet pilots, and then other countries joined. We were the first to undertake the transfer of long-range missiles that helped Ukrainians in the south and southeast. So, we are leaders in all of these issues," Cleverley said.

He noted that he takes Johnson's comments seriously.

"But I have provided you with evidence that he is wrong on this issue. I speak to Ukrainians regularly about this. They remain incredibly grateful not only for our aid packages, but also for our leadership on this issue," Cleverley added.
