Meeting between Zelensky and Trudeau began in Ottawa
The meeting between the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau began in Ottawa. The leaders will hold talks face-to-face and in an extended format.

"Thank you for your support since the first days of full-scale war - it's phone calls, as well as the real steps of your government and all Canadians. Thank you to your beautiful country! I want to thank you for accepting Ukrainians during this difficult period, helping us on the battlefield - military, financial, humanitarian aid. Thank you for being with us, for standing for our victory," Zelensky said.
As noted, Zelensky and Trudeau will discuss the defense needs of Ukraine, further financial and humanitarian support of our country, as well as the expansion of opportunities for economic and investment cooperation.
The President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Canada will take part in the signing of bilateral documents and will meet with media representatives.
