Russian occupying forces do not stop trying to take Mariinka, Donetsk region. 13 clashes took place over the past day.
Oleksandr Shtupun, the spokesman of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria region, announced this on the air of the telethon, Censor.NET informs with reference to ArmyInform.
"The enemy does not stop trying to take Mariinka. Over the past day, we recorded 13 skirmishes by the enemy, his unsuccessful attempts there. He attacks mainly in small groups, somewhere before the branch, without equipment. Also, the enemy is trying to recapture lost positions in the Robotyny area," the spokesman said.
There are no special changes in the Shakhtarsk direction. The counter-battery fight continues there, the AFU destroys the enemy's warehouses. Over the past 2 days, our troops have destroyed 11 warehouses of various levels.
The spokesman also said that the enemy continues to strengthen its positions and build additional positions.
"The enemy should not be underestimated. He sets up these positions quite competently in terms of engineering, and saturates his defenses with anti-tank means, so it is quite difficult to fight with equipment," added the spokesman of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction.
