UK runs out of weapons it could give to Ukraine - media
Britain has run out of defense equipment that it could send to Ukraine. We need air defense systems and artillery ammunition.
According to Censor.NET, citing the EP, an unnamed military official told The Telegraph.
According to him, the UK will continue to supply weapons to Ukraine, but Kyiv needs air defense equipment and artillery ammunition, and London has "run out of all that."
"We have given as much as we can afford," he told The Telegraph.
A source told the newspaper that the burden of providing billions in aid to Ukraine should not fall on Britain.
"Providing more billions does not mean providing billions of British weapons. London has a role to play in encouraging other countries to provide more money and weapons," the official said.
He also added that there is no prospect of providing Ukraine with more British tanks, as London "has given almost everything it could afford to give."
