Zelensky will visit Romania tomorrow - Office of Romanian President Iohannis
President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Romania on 10 October at the invitation of Bucharest. This is his first visit to the country since the start of the full-scale war.
This was announced by the office of Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, Censor.NET reports.
Iohannis will receive Zelensky, who will come to Romania at the invitation of the Romanian side, at the Cotroceni Palace in Bucharest.
"The visit confirms Romania's continued unconditional support for Ukraine in the context of Russia's illegal war against our country, as well as the special nature of bilateral relations between Romania and Ukraine, their potential and the need to discuss projects and issues of mutual interest at the highest level," the statement said.
The leaders of Ukraine and Romania will discuss strengthening support for Kyiv in countering Russian aggression, the security situation in the region and in the Black Sea and "the necessary steps to resolve it," as well as the development of bilateral cooperation.
