IDF kills Hamas economic minister Shamala in Gaza, IDF spokesman says

The Israeli army has killed Hamas’s Minister of Economy, Jawad Abu Shamala. A senior Hamas member, Zakaria Abu Maamar, was also killed in Gaza.
This was announced by the chief spokesman for the Israeli Defence Forces, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, Censor.NET reports.
"Last night (10 October - ed.), an IDF plane killed Jawad Abu Shamala, the Minister of Economy of the Hamas terrorist organisation.
In his position, he was in charge of the organisation's finances and allocated funds to finance and manage terrorism inside and outside the Gaza Strip," the statement said.
Haghari also announced the elimination of "one of the senior members of the political bureau of the Hamas terrorist organisation, who served as the head of the organisation's national relations department". According to him, it is Zakaria Abu Maamr, "the head of the Ministry of National Relations in the political bureau of the Hamas terrorist organisation in the Gaza Strip".
The Israeli army spokesman said that in his position, Abu Maamr was responsible for "decision-making in Gaza, ensuring internal relations and coordination between Gaza organisations".
Hamas officials were killed in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
