Ukrainian defenders repel all enemy attacks in Avdiivka direction, no losses of borders and positions - Defence Forces
Enemy troops are conducting offensive operations in the areas of Avdiivka, Tonenke, Keramika, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, and the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled all enemy attacks.
This was reported by the official representative of the Tauria group of troops, Colonel Oleksandr Shtupun, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
"Fighting continues, in the area of responsibility of the Tauria Brigade, the enemy is conducting offensive actions with about three battalions, supported by a large number of tanks and other armoured vehicles. In particular, it is being recorded in the areas of Avdiivka, Tonenke, Keramika, and Pervomaiske... So far, all enemy attacks have been repelled, and our soldiers have not lost any borders or positions," said Stupun on the air of the national telethon.
Ukrainian defenders also successfully repelled more than 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Maiinka and Krasnohorivka. In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives near Zolota Nyva and Volodymyrne. In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces improved the tactical situation west of Robotyne and continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Inzhenerne and Verbove.
He added that "the situation is currently under control, fighting continues".
Stupun also noted that the advance in the area of Verbove "is not as big as we would like", but it is quite important in tactical terms and for further actions.
