First F-16s may arrive in Ukraine in spring 2024, - Austin

"As we said earlier, it will take months to provide Ukraine with these capabilities. The earliest when the first planes could arrive is next spring," Austin said when asked about the timing of the delivery of F-16s to Ukraine.

He reminded that Ukrainian pilots are currently being trained in several countries."Training has already begun in Europe, pilots are also trained in the United States," the head of the Pentagon said.
