Russian Federation has not struck Ukraine from long-range aviation for three weeks, because it is stockpiling missiles, - British intelligence

Russian occupying forces are stockpiling missiles to launch strikes on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure in winter.

As Censor.NET informs, this is stated in the report of British intelligence.

It is noted that long-range aircraft of the Russian Air Force have not struck Ukraine since September 21, that is, for 21 days. The last such break in strikes occurred between March 9 and April 28, 2023, i.e. for 51 days.

Russia is likely to have nearly exhausted its stockpile of live AS-23 missile munitions following a winter campaign against critical infrastructure in Ukraine, the intelligence agency said.

"This time, it is quite likely that the Russian long-range aviation is keeping the existing stockpile of AS-23 missiles, and also using this pause to increase the usable stockpile in anticipation of further heavy strikes on Ukraine in the winter," the report said.

At the same time, intelligence officers say, the Russian Federation has focused on strikes against Ukraine's grain infrastructure with Shahed kamikaze drones.
