Russia is trying to restore and increase production of weapons, in 2024 occupiers plan to produce 2.1 million ammunition, - Defence Intelligence
In 2024, the Russians plan to produce 2,100,000 ammunition, but they will not be able to do this without outside help from other countries.
This was stated by the representative of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadym Skibitsky, Censor.NET informs.
The aggressor state is actively removing heavy equipment and artillery systems from storage, bringing it to normal condition to equip new military units and formations that the Russian Federation is currently creating with these weapons," the intelligence representative said.
Skibitskyi added that the Russians are taking steps to restore the 104th Airborne Division of the Russian Federation. Also in Russia, the formation of new armies continues - for example, the 25th Army of the Central Military District, which is already involved in hostilities on our territory, but the problem of equipping them with weapons remains.
"We are trying to damage the critical elements of the defense-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. Some productions of their kind are unique. For example, if you hit an object where a certain component is manufactured, and this component can be manufactured only at this enterprise, this allows you to reduce the speed of weapons production or stop its production altogether.
We have our own methodology, according to which we identify the most critical objects of the Russian military-industrial complex and disable them not only with drone strikes, but also with other methods to damage, delay, and prevent the mass production of weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation," Skibitsky summarized.
