Austin: US ready for escalation of conflict in Middle East
If new participants appear in the conflict between Israel and Hamas, the US army is ready to act.
According to Censor.NET with reference to Interfax-Ukraine, this was stated on Sunday by the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin.
"If any country or group seeks to expand this conflict (...), my advice is not to try to do so," he said.
"We have the right to defend ourselves, and we will not hesitate to do so if necessary," Austin added.
