Ruscists struck near Khmelnytskyi NPP, as result of which 1.8 thousand consumers lost power (updated)

Russian invaders struck near the Khmelnytsky NPP, 1.8 thousand consumers were cut off.
This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Energy, Censor.NET reports.
"At night, the enemy attacked the territory near the Khmelnytskyi NPP. As a result of the explosion, windows in the administrative and household and laboratory and household buildings were damaged. Due to the damage to the power transmission lines, 1,860 consumers in the cities of Slavuta and Netishyn of the Khmelnytsky region lost power," the message reads.
Restoration work will begin as soon as energy workers are allowed to the site of damage.
According to the BBC, in Slavuta and Netishyn, the blast wave damaged fire and rescue stations and a police station building. This is the first attack on a nuclear power plant by Russians in recent times.
The Deputy Head of Khmelnytskyi RMA ( Regional Military Administration), Serhiy Tiurin, said that debris had fallen in Khmelnytskyi district, but it did not cause any damage.
From the Slavuta city, which the occupiers attacked with drones, to the Khmelnytskyi NPP (Nuclear Power Plant) in Netishyn is about 17 kilometers in a straight line.
According to the RMA, in the Shepetivka district of the region, drone debris fell on the territory of a critical infrastructure facility. The blast wave damaged non-residential premises, residential buildings and vehicles.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, said that 11 apartment buildings and 9 private houses, two educational institutions, an administrative building, a shop and cars were damaged in Slavuta. The head of the city, Vasyl Sydor, said that 20 people were injured as a result of the attack. Two of the wounded are in grave condition. According to the mayor, all educational facilities were damaged - these are 28 objects, they have different levels of damage. A hospital, industrial enterprises, more than 300 multi-storey buildings and the private sector were also damaged.
Oleksandr Supruniuk, mayor of Netishyn city, which is located just one and a half kilometers from the nuclear power plant, said: "What we experienced tonight, border and frontline towns and villages experience every day, sometimes several times a day. The war continues. We don't relax. The Executive Committee, together with the military administration, the State Emergency Service, and the police, are working to eliminate the consequences. We are conducting a survey."

According to the General Staff, on the night of 25 October, the Russian occupiers launched 11 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) over Ukraine. The forces and means of air defense of Ukraine destroyed all enemy UAVs. The Air Force added that air defense was operating in Cherkasy, Kherson, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Mykolaiv regions.
