Ukraine will soon increase ammunition production, - Danilov
Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, said that in the near future, Ukraine will increase its own ammunition production.
He announced this on the air of the national telethon, Censor.NET reports with reference to Liga.net.
According to him, not only the Defense Forces have problems with ammunition, but also the Russians.
He noted that Western partners have begun to build additional capacities, but production cannot be established in a short period of time.
"Our private companies are also dealing with this issue, they have ordered equipment that is already being installed at enterprises. In the near future, we will see an increase in production, the state will not be able to cope here on its own," Danilov said.
The official emphasized that such ammunition expenditure has not been seen since the Second World War, but expressed confidence that Ukraine will be able to solve this problem together with its partners.
