Zelenskyy and President of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio, discussed Peace Formula and Grain from Ukraine initiative
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, had a telephone conversation with the President of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio.
Zelensky announced this on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.
"Had a telephone conversation with the President of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio. Glad to resume contact between our states at the highest level after a 20-year hiatus.
I congratulate Sierra Leone on its election to the UN Security Council for 2024-2025 and hope for continued consistent support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
We discussed our #PeaceFormula, the successful meeting of advisers in Malta, and the consolidation of support for our vision of peace among African countries, including on regional platforms.
Told about the #GrainFromUkraine initiative and invited him to the second summit, which will take place within its borders," Zelenskyy wrote.
