Poland will stand steadfastly with Ukrainians side by side and support them in fight against aggressor - Duda on anniversary of Euromaidan

On the tenth anniversary of the beginning of Euromaidan and the Revolution of Dignity, Polish President Andrzej Duda assured that Poland would help Ukraine on its way to the EU and NATO, because it wants to see Ukrainians "in the European family as soon as possible."
As reported by Censor.NET, this is reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
In a video message on the occasion of the anniversary of Euromaidan, published on X (Twitter), Duda stressed that since the beginning of the mass protests on the Maidan, Poles have supported Ukraine's desire to deepen integration with Europe.
"This is still the case today. Poland was the first country to call for the immediate granting of EU candidate status to Ukraine after the start of Russian aggression. A few days ago, the European Commission recommended the start of accession negotiations. This is a great success for which I congratulate you, but it is also a great challenge. I want to assure you that Poland will steadfastly stand side by side with you and support you in the fight against the aggressor," he said.
The President noted that no one understands better than the Poles what a huge price has to be paid for freedom and independence. According to Duda, Poland will help Ukraine on its way to the EU and NATO, because it wants to see it "in our European family as soon as possible."
"A free and independent Ukraine, as well as good and mutually respectful partnerships between our peoples, are of fundamental importance to me and my compatriots. I believe that we will continue to develop them in this spirit," he concluded.
